Field Reporting on the State of Exception in El Salvador

Summary

As part of my work as a data journalist, I carried out field reporting in El Salvador to investigate the consequences of the state of exception imposed by the government of Nayib Bukele. The project focused on documenting testimonies from journalists, activists, and human rights defenders to expose violations derived from this exceptional regime.

Methodology

Preliminary research

Reviewed international reports and legal frameworks related to the state of exception.

Fieldwork
